This may add a few extra miles to your trip, but I have found that I do not enjoy negotiating this traffic circle with its driver blind spots. This will parallel the airport's longest runway and take you the Ohio River Trail. Once through the golf course, climb the short steep hill onto the flood levee, and turn left onto the Lunken Airport Connector Trail in order to reach Otto Armleder Park and avoid Beechmont Circle.

Nothing to see but hedges on both sides. Better for biking. Very nice paved trail that was well maintained. Lots of bicyclists, some of which are moving at a breakneck pace - be careful. Still a very nice paved trail option. With all the rain we have had recently it's nice to have this as a non-muddy option. Great walk. Trail paved and plenty wide for 4 people abreast. Watch out for cyclists who are moving pretty fast. Fun to watch planes taking off. I rated this a 4 instead of a 3 because it's very unique.

Not necessarily the most exciting trail unless you're into airplanes , but the 5 mile distance is good. Just a paved walking trail around the airport and golf course - kids enjoyed seeing airplanes and helicopters but other than that not much there. Very little shade.
Super easy, long trail. There is no shade whatsoever so you could easily get burnt. It is fun the watch the planes go in and out of the airport! Nice five Mile loop with convenient parking and only one significant Hill. The portions of the trail next to the golf course are lowest in elevation, and often flood, necessitating some trespassing on the golf course or very wet feet. Currently flooded.
